In advance of the release David Cameron’s letter to the European Council President, Donald Tusk, setting out the four areas where he wants changes to the UK’s membership of the European Union, I appeared on BBC World Business Report, the flagship Today programme, and BBC Radio London commenting on the Prime Minister’s demands and their implications for business.
The letter from the Prime Minister has kick-started the re-negotiation process but the demands are more about the politics of the securing a ‘yes’ vote than being a detailed position. Of the four, it will be the one centred on welfare that will be make-or-break.
