For an article in PR Week, I have commented on a call No 10 Downing Street held with Public Affairs professionals.
Dr Stuart Thomson, founder of CWE Communications, comments: “We all want government to be more open and for there to be more consistency in engagement between departments. The fact that No. 10 have started this initiative is a valuable first step. I for one am glad they have started. I would certainly rather have them than not. It also proves that the value of public affairs is recognised by government.”
