With passionate disagreements over the coalition’s cuts, how far we arefrom the cliché that politicians are all the same. Any reform to PrimeMinister’s Questions should not remove the spectacle and emotion frompolitics and risk people zoning out. Instead, reform should focus onopportunities to put ministers under consistent pressure and a requirementthat Bills go beyond broad policy outlines to allow Parliament to deal withthe detail.
